DYNAMICAL PROPERTIES OF DENSE COULOMB PLASMAS
Abstract
In this paper we show the results of the investigation of dynamic characteristics of dense, partially degenerate, two-component (hydrogen), fully ionized plasma. In order to determine the dynamic structure factors of such a plasma (DSF), we proposed an interpolation method of moments, which differs from the classical method with fact that the frequency moments are calculated from the simplified relations. It is shown that the obtained results are in good agreement with the data of computer modeling. The dielectric function is calculated using the previously obtained expressions for the Nevanlinna-parameter function for a dense one-component plasm, which depends only on the ratio of the moments of different orders. Therefore, in the present work the same model is used for two-component plasma. Using the obtained expression for the dielectric function of dense, partially degenerate plasma, we investigated the dispersion and dissipation of plasma waves and had shown that in the range of long waves, the damping ratio and the existing mode in the plasma are the own. The proposed calculation method has no adjustable parameters and requires the knowledge of plasma parameters only. The results are obtained in a wide range of system parameters.
