RESEARCH EFFECT OF FILLER CONCENTRATION FROM CARBON NANOTUBES ON THE ELECTRICAL CONDUCTIVITY OF POLYDIMETHYLSILOXANE
Abstract
In this article we investigated changes in the electrical properties of polymer composite materials with the concentration of carbon nanotube filler. The filler used carbon nanotubes obtained by the SVD (Chemical vapor deposition). In a container of polymer added different concentration of carbon nanotubes and prevented until homogeneous. According, micrographs obtained by a scanning electron microscope revealed that the length of the carbon nanotubes does not exceed 2 microns. This was confirmed indirectly increased intensity (narrow line G in the high-frequency region) of the peak of the Raman spectrum at ν = 1,65 • 103 cm-1, indicating the extended structure of macromolecules nanotubes. The electrical properties of the samples were determined by van der Pauw method. It was found that an increase in blacks with nanotubes resistivity decreases exponentially. Was determined the dependence of the electrical resistivity of blacks with carbon nanotubes and calculated the coefficient λ, characterizing the dependence of the electrical conductivity of the polymer composite material of the concentration of carbon nanotubes.
