IRREVERSIBILITY AND EVOLUTION
Abstract
The role of the deterministic solution of the irreversibility problem in the development of the theory of evolution is discussed. It is shown how irreversibility is connected with the principle of causality and how it opens the possibility of creating a single picture of the world. Examples of the interrelationship between the laws of evolution of systems and the laws of their elements' dynamics explain how the law of the transition of quantity to quality is realized, how principles of building the laws of systems are formed on the basis of the laws of the dynamics of their elements. The interrelation of classical mechanics with the laws of statistics is discussed and how the notion of entropy is formulated in classical mechanics.
