TRANSPARENCY COEFFICIENT OF DISORDERED STRUCTURES IN STRONG ELECTRIC FIELD

Abstract

For systems of chaotic scatterers with -like potentials the influence of the external electric field on the transparency coefficient of electrons is studied. The discrepancy of field dependences from the analyti- cal solutions derived earlier for the short-length regime is discussed. The distribution function of the transparency of one-dimensional disordered system in the presence of an electric field is considered.
