Abstract

Abstract: It is shown how the hypothesis holonomicity connections in the systems of potentially

interacting material points, used in the obtain of the Lagrange equations, has led to the identifica-
tion of possible descriptions of irreversible processes within the formalism of classical mechan-
ics. As good example we are used the oscillator on the passage through the potential barrier. Ex-
plain how to obtain the equation of motion of systems without the use of the hypothesis of ho-
lonomic constraints, and why this leads to the ability to describe the irreversible processes in the

framework of the laws of Newton was submitted.

Keywords: classical mechanics, irreversibility, and holonomic constraints, the Lagrange formal-
ism, the oscillator.
