SUBMERSION OF FREE FALLED DROP AND SUBSEQUENT SPLASH FLOW FINE STRUCTURE
Abstract
By the macroshooting and higt-speed video recording the evolution of flow due to submersion of free falled drop into deep fluid was investigated. In these experiments the colored by alizarin ink drops of fresh and salted water, ethanol, milk, petroleum and vegetable oil falls into fresh or colored water. Mostly the attention paid for detecting of colored drop spreading picture over deformated surface and entrance of matter into receiving fluid. It was established for the first time that the drop matter concentrated in thin filament on the surfact of cavern and crown by forming rows of structured levels. On the upper row of crown the vertical filaments mostly adjoined on the base of jaggies were observed. On cavern the distribution of filaments complicated and the linear pattern became meshy. On the botton of the cavern mosly observed triangle, rectangle and pentagonal cells. The location and polarization of filaments changes in time.
