Abstract

The paper presents the results of a study of seismic-ionospheric effects from the data of total electronic content, one of the key parameters of the ionosphere. Seismic and ionospheric effects were identified for earthquakes that had an Almaty seismic region. In the variations of the total electron content, small-scale perturbations are observed with periods of ~10-12 min, whose amplitudes are of the order of ~(0,1-0,2)´1016 el / m2. A response was detected in the data of the IES of the ionosphere recorded over the city of Almaty [43.51°N; 78.07°E] to the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that occurred on April 25, 2015 in Nepal.

Keywords: total electronic content, acoustic-gravitational wave, earthquake
