Abstract

Information - entropic analysis of digital seismograms of several large earthquakes in our region have been carried out. It was found that before all the earthquakes studied a harbinger in the form of significant change of entropy compared to unperturbed periods is observed by the records of stations close to tremors epicenters. The seismograms were provided to us by Seismological experimental methodical expedition of SC MES RK.

Keywords: earthquake precursors, information entropy, signal analysis
