Grant funding for scientific research of the KN MNHE for 2024-2026
2023-10-01The dates for the announcement and all stages of new competitions for Grant funding for scientific research of the KN MNE for 2024-2026 have been approved.

3 Global Fund competitions will be announced (42.7 billion tenge per year, totaling 128.1 billion tenge for 3 years):
-- Global Fund for Young Scientists (3 billion tenge per year);
-- GF "Zhas Galym" (3 billion tenge per year);
-- GF General (36.7 billion tenge per year).
The planned date for announcing competitions is October 10, 2023.
The planned date for making final decisions of the NSC is January 22-February 12, 2024.
Since the decisions of the National Tax Service are mandatory, the winners of the competitions will immediately (from February 2024) be able to begin implementing projects without waiting for the formalization of contracts, etc. -

Minister of the NVO of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek spoke at the Government Hour in the Mazhilis on the development of science
2023-05-20The minister noted that funding for science over the past three years has increased 3 times, for the commercialization of scientific projects - 4 times, the basic funding includes the remuneration of leading scientists; introduced the institution of appeal of the decisions of the NNC; approved the regulatory framework for scientific internships; the National Council for Science and Technology was established taking into account the best international experience. Support for young scientists has also been strengthened.
